IT'S THE WEEEEEEEKEND! Here are a few fun things to do this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as sent in to us by YOU RocSubway readers. We've got a unique worship service at Cinema Theater, a very tasty Holiday Market at Hart's, and one hilarious food drive for Foodlink...

Equally Funny Comedy Open Mic Night
First up, Friday night, get ready to laugh your butts off at the Equally Funny Comedy Open Mic Night
at Equal Grounds Coffee House in the South Wedge. This is a holiday food drive for Foodlink
so PLEASE bring non-perishable food to donate. And spread the word!

Hart's Grocers Holiday Market
Next up, on Saturday afternoon, Hart's Grocers
will host a "second helping" Holiday Market. Our favorite small grocer has pulled together 17 of its local vendors to help shoppers find the perfect last-minute gifts. Vendors will be offering samples and tastings, as well great merchandise you can buy as you check out with your groceries.
Vendors include: VonBrake Spices, CanalTown Coffee Roasters, Forge Hot Sauce, Allens Hill Farm, Seaway Trail Honey, Dollop Gourmet Frosting, Schutt's Apple Mill, Mendon Maple, Happy Earth Tea, Maggie's Mustard, and The Butter Man.
AND five breweries will also be in attendance: Brewery Ommegang, Rohrbach Brewing Co, Southern Tier Brewing Co, BlackBird Cider Works, and Anderson Valley Brewing Company.

Holiday Fellowship and FROZEN at Cinema Theater
And finally, a new local church community wants you to celebrate this Christmas at the historic Cinema Theater. On December 21st The Pillar ROC
will hold their first worship service at the Cinema Theater
and the public is invited to share in the festivities. Enjoy an uplifting Christmas service followed by a free catered lunch from the Highland Park Diner
and a free screening of Disney's Frozen
. Come celebrate with the whole family!
