"Rolling Thunder is an exciting, first time, event for our County Park System" said Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks. "Food truck rodeos are incredibly popular across the nation and Monroe County is happy to host a local twist at Ellison Park."
This event will have at least 19 well-known food trucks from around the area - Marty's Meats, Stingray Sushi Fusion, Macrollin, and Le Petit Poutine to name a few.
The fun doesn't stop at food trucks. Regional and local bands will play throughout the day. Music will include Tommy Brunett Band, Jackson Cavalier & The Revelers, Teresa Wilcox, and the always wonderful Cammy Enaharo . And an array of family-friendly activities (bounce houses, an art area, face painting, story time, etc.) are also part of the program.
Beer, wine, and other non-alcoholic refreshments will be available for purchase. There is a $3.00 cover charge per person, and children under 12 are free.
