Meet local rapper "Bricksonion". Brick first started rapping when he was 13, but didn't take it very seriously until he was about 23. Now he is known around town for his music
, and for operating Rochester's first mobile recording studio.
Bricksonion has pimped his ride
with sound booths and digital editing equipment, and he's taking it to the streets in search of the most talented freestyle rappers in the R-O-C .
Brick says he is so determined to make his business successful that he never takes a break. He's always working to better his ideas... and to provide a platform for other local talent. Keenly aware of the hip-hop talent bubbling up from Rochester's toughest neighborhoods, he is motivated to help them get as much exposure as he can. That is one of the reasons why he records and puts them on Youtube
and on his website
--because he knows that each one is an artist with great potential. All it takes is for someone to notice. If you've got "bars" he'll put you on youtube, build you a website, and even produce your track.
So let's take a look. But first, let me throw out a "Parental Advisory Warning" for some explicit lyrics ahead. These Youtube videos may take a minute to load up, but it's worth the wait...
