Deer grazing in the middle of Rochester NY. Kodak headquarters is on the right. The Genesee River gorge is to the left.


   Check this out. This photo is for real - absolutely no Photoshop involved here. You're looking at the Kodak building to the right, and smack dab in the middle of the big bad City of Rochester... grazing deer. I've heard of Urban Greening before but come on.

I snapped the above shot tonight--probably 8:30pm or so--as I was heading home after a very fun trip on the     Mary Jemison

. And just three blocks south of where this scene unfolded is the urban jungle below...

My guess is the 3 little guys (or gals) followed the Genesee River gorge from the north. They'll probably head back tonight after dining downtown. Who knows, maybe they'll take the #1 Lake Ave bus.
