   I've given myself a photo assignment for 2013. Pick 13 subjects, and take 13 snapshots of each. Simple. We started last month with     13 mailboxes    . This month I turned my lens on what I thought were some of Rochester's most intriguing storefronts. These images were taken on the city's east side, from Monroe Ave up to East Ridge Road...

   S and M Mini Mart and Mellow Madness Tattoo Parlor. South Ave.

   Color Nails. Monroe Ave.

   Schuber Liquor Store. Park Ave.

   Craft Company No. 6. University Ave.

   Zimmermann's Hots. North Union St.

   Braiding, Barber Shop, and Caribbean Food. Main and Richmond St.

   S&S Express, Big Deal Fashions, Boost Mobile, Zips, and Food. Main and Clinton.

   819 Clinton Grocery. North Clinton Ave.

   New Tropical Pawn Brokers. North Clinton Ave.

   Mighty Moe's Chicken. I'm not going to lie, I completely forget where I was when I took this. Could be Portland Avenue.

   Red Wing Plaza. Between North Clinton and Hollenbeck St.

   CG's Ice Cream Corner. North Clinton Ave.

   Alumaroll. East Ridge Road.
